What really blows me away about this picture is that she's wearing an orange shirt and has a matching orange apron. I've looked at vintage sewing patterns on eBay, and I'm always struck by how many patterns there were for aprons. I guess the well-groomed housewife didn't have just one apron. She had lots of aprons to match all of her clothes. Don't want your clothes clashing with your goddamn apron, after all. Sheesh.
