Children
#00461/Greeting Card - Blank
Price: $3.00
I had a new, totally misanthropic (or should I say, pediathropic?) realization this year: kids should not be allowed to travel by airplane. Not just babies. Not just toddlers. All kids. No getting on an airplane unless you can prove that you do not live with your parents. This would spare little kids the confusing horrors of airports, lines, waiting, and airplanes. It would spare older kids the mortification of parental proximity. And it would spare everyone else the screaming, the whining, the scenes, the inability to walk in a straight line, and the generally depressing spectacle of haggard, unhappy parents trying to martial some cooperation out of their spoiled kids.
"Fine with me! I'll stay home and make a spaceship out of mom's broom and a bunch of tin cans! Why? Cuz I'm a kid from 55 years ago!"
