I hate traveling.  Unfortunately, my mommy, my best friend, my sister, my in-laws and all my aunts and cousins live someplace that isn't here.  So I'll travel to go see these people (aren't they lucky?), but when it comes to traveling just for fun, I'm completely hopeless.  I don't think travel and fun belong in the same sentence.  I read an article in the New Yorker about this guy with Asperger's Syndrome and I noticed that one of the symptoms is a passionate dislike of leaving home.  That's me.  I started getting all excited as I read the article, thinking, "Hey!  I have Asperger's Syndrome!  I don't relate well with others!  I like being alone!  I can't stand traveling!"  Unfortunately, what I didn't get is the good part of Asperger's.  Which is to say, I'm not freakishly smart.  So I can't ascribe my crappy personality to an interesting medical syndrome.  I'm just an anti-social hermit.  

Oh, and with regard to this card, she’s “Bound,” all right. She’s BOUND to pull a muscle dragging that 23-lb. “portable” radio around.
