Can you imagine how bad this wig must have smelled?  Can you imagine how bad the whole package must have smelled?  When the ol’ time machine arrives at my door and the driver says, “Hop aboard!” I start thinking about all that body odor and all that inadequate plumbing and all that lack of air conditioning and all the other stuff that won’t have been invented yet (tampons! corrective eyewear! Mel Torme!) and I can’t slam the door fast enough!
