That’s our dog, Chester. He is the worst-smelling dog in the world. He’s a pug, so his face is all squashed in and crap is always festering in the wrinkles. He’s got a “disturbing fragrance,” all right. He makes up for it by being freakishly cute. We have another pug, Connie, but she's really not up to Chester standards. She doesn't smell as bad, but she's neurotic and annoying. We really can't honestly say we love them equally. But we don't have to. Because they're not children. They're dogs. Just dogs. Pets. Not children. Pets.
